Ergo in the office....

today i received an amazing new office chair. granted it was a hand-me-down it still makes my desk experience better.(not that it wasn't great before but c'mon i sit for over 7 hours a day). recently iv been experiencing back pain, headaches, tingling in my legs, arms and feet. brain tumor or bad ergonomics? so now your probably wondering what that &@$%  Ergonomics? I'm going to sound mildly intelligent for a moment...ready?

Ergonomics is (there were 100's of definitions so i chose 2)

A discipline that involves fitting the job to the worker and not the worker to the job. It is the science of adapting workstations, tools, equipment and job practices to be compatible with the individual worker and thus reduce the risk of injury due to risk factors.

The science which deals with the interaction between people, their work place and environment. It also considers the physiology of workers in the design of tools, equipment, and the work methods needed.

they both provide an adequate description.

now since i am sitting here just overjoyd with my new chair (which i now hear i may have to give back if the other office needs refuses to spend money on another one it) maybe i will consider some of these options:

this beauty is like the Mercedes of office chairs and you can get it from Herman Miller for $849. Yup...for an office chair

similar to the above but i couldnt find the price

i added this because laughable.
for the baseball stadium fan

if you have ever worked out with one of these balls you know what im talking about

this may look
                                                                      uncomfortable
but you would be surprised
