Design Office.....

below is what i feel to be a great example of a small design office. its bright and organized. Meet the ladies of Avenue Interior Design located out in sunny California (which may or may not be my final destination) I LOVE the blue door..so fun! a great pop of color on a seemingly white backdrop. they way sources are organized falls into the same category as what i want to do when i finally get around to opening my own office. ( i also love the turquiose scarf Casey is wearing below)

Thursday love....what im obsessing about

just a few things that i am loving today....they make my slow Thursday a little more exciting

as we know already i am not a fan of bright colors....I'm trying to make the transition.(slowly) i love black though and i find that the bold lime green contrasted with the black and white here are great!

who wouldnt want to be sitting here right now? this just seems so relaxing

i love the weatherd look of these peices.

and ohhh this bed!! i would take endless naps here. i would never want to leave this bed....ever

i love hydrangas!! love love love. they are so classic and elegant and look good with almost any decor...hello spring!!

Pottery Barn...yes please!!

Pottery Barns January catalog is full of decor for casual yet chic living. I covet love the style! Growing up in the country I find that some decorating styles are much to metropolitan for my taste. I do occasionally like the straight lines and metallic luster of the city set but I prefer to mix it up a little.

I will one day own a four-poster bed! I will....I will....(ok so here is some of that big city luster in the bedside table but it fits in with the rest of the decor. Love!)
This bed (above) would make me never want to leave my bedroom.....
Monograms are making a HUGE comeback...not just for the preppy set anymore!

PB goes and shows you that you can have a casual lifestyle while still being stylish.

......when i finally get around to setting up my home office, these inspire me. if only i had the room  (sigh)
